In Between Jobs: A Morning That Found Me

🌄

Some days begin with a pull — subtle, persistent, impossible to ignore. This morning, that pull led me outside just in time to catch a sky that burned bright and vanished quickly, like it had somewhere else to be.

The colors came in a rush, spilled across the valley, and disappeared before I could fully take them in. But that brief moment was enough. It shifted something. It reminded me that even in seasons of transition, there are flashes of beauty that arrive without warning.

Life feels layered right now — moving, shifting, unfolding in its own rhythm. I’m balancing a lot, tending to what needs tending, showing up where I’m called. But this morning’s sky felt like a quiet reminder that I’m still allowed to pause. To breathe. To notice.

That’s the heart of being in between jobs. Not the waiting, but the witnessing.
